Class 46: Set Your September Writing Goals

Hi Writers!

I want to start by mentioning that today’s goal-setting class is a free class, available to anyone, so if you know another writer they might really appreciate it if you forward this video to them. Wednesday’s class, about one of our guiding principles, Grow Slowly, is also a free class.

New subscribers get a free trial so they can check out the classes before committing. The beginning of September—a new month, but also a new season— is the perfect time to join our little writing class!

Speaking of free classes, I’ve decided on the two August classes that I will unlock, so thank you for your feedback on which classes would be helpful for others. This month’s unlocked classes will be: Class 34: Writing vs. Producing Written Content and Class 24: Mind-Mapping.

I’ve also made a handy page that lists all of the unlocked classes in one place.

Today’s class has 4 parts:

  • a quick review of August’s goal, if you had one

  • a series of reflective questions that will help you prepare to set the perfect September goal for your writing practice

  • goal-setting time

  • our usual 20-minute block of writing time (if today is a writing day for you)

There is also a word about some of the community aspects of WWD (current and future) at 19:43.

And even though our community is still small, I am curious if any of you would be interested in getting together for an in-person workshop sometime between now and the end of 2024.

Writer, I am so happy that you are here, giving this time to your writing practice. Your writing is important—I truly believe that and I hope you do too.

Have a great long weekend. See you Tuesday 💖

Blessings,
Danica
